In term 2, Primary 6, had weekly Outdoor Learning sessions. We used the local landscape to develop team building skills to solve a weekly challenge; be it den building, creating sand castles and raft building. The pupils had to work together to share their ideas to meet the weekly design brief and reflected upon their own and their peers work. All of the children were engaged within each of these challenges and it was great to see everyone collaborating with each other.
We will continue to develop our Outdoor Learning sessions in term 3.
