This term we are focusing on Colour Theory in art. The class have made their own colour wheel, exploring primary, secondary and tertiary colours. They were successful at mixing primary colours to create secondary colours and then create tertiary colours. We will next be looking at warm and cool and complimentary colours.
We will use these skills to understand how colours relate to each other and how to create different effects and emotions. We will reflect upon different artists work to look at how they used colour effectively and to create their own artwork.
